Survey Scan Technicians

Transwater is looking to hire and train Survey Scan Technicians to oversee daily activity for client pond scan / survey.  In this position, technician travel to customer pond asset locations across the Permian and perform survey scans with Transwater Sonar Boat and Photo Imagery aerial drones.  A physical survey and measurement of ponds and wells as pond photographs would also be captured.  All data is verified and uploaded for processing.

 

Positions Pay: Competitive Rate based on related experience and/prior technical skill set

Typical Hours:  6:00am to 4:00pm Mon-Fri (early morning, some weekends and overtime as needed)

Essential Job Functions / Daily Work

​

• Perform frac pit surveys in various field locations

• Become expert operator on remote boat and/or aerial drone

• Provide pit measurements and visual inspections

• Perform preventative routine maintenance on equipment

• Manage survey data delivery to scan processors

 

 

Experience needed

​

• Past experience with any type of radio-controlled vehicles helpful

• Above average computer skills

• Oil field navigation and general knowledge of the field

• Excellent driving record

• Self-motivated to work efficiently and able to work unsupervised
